Geolocating a Ukrainian Artillery Strike in Donetsk

At 6:00 am eastern standard time a twitter account by the name of @factsdocs posted a video which claimed to show a Ukrainian howitzer round impacting a suspected Russian ammunition dump in the vicinity of Hornova St in Donetsk Ukraine.

The account had identified the area as the Kamaz Center in Donetsk, giving us a pretty accurate area to look.

The yellow building has been identified as a hardware store named Галактика, with the address of Sokolyna Vul., 38, Donetsk, Donetsk Oblast, Ukraine, 83000.

The explosion took place just beyond the hardware store and its surrounding buildings.

GEOLOCATION

The star has been identified as the most probable position of the camera. Explosion has been identified in red in the vicinity of 48°02'07.7"N 37°45'20.0"E.
